Coolin’ in China? Check, check, and check.

The turn in my career was a venture capital trip to China in 2018. It was here it became obvious what both large companies and international entrepreneurs including Americans wanted: technical ability for in demeaned technologies. Technical ability was a requirement for success for someone like myself who needed to shed the “jack of all trades and master of none” label. When I got back from this trip, I got to work.

Yes I was the only one on the trip ha ha ha.

In the start up world there are either builders or sellers and typically you only need a single account executive per 5 or so engineers so from a simple math perspective I decided I’d rather have a skill set I can use in both small and mid sized teams. As I have matriculated I’ve come to enjoy a smaller company footprint rather than the massive behemoths where 5,000 job cuts are business as usual.

Turns out investors don’t like social good real estate projects. Then again with current rent/home prices it’s obvious.

I went on to focus on automation and digital transformation with being able to lead and deliver a variety of use cases using various enterprise applications, Office 365 programmatic approaches, instructing classes on implementing automation, and lots of buzz wordy stuff. The big takeaway is focus is better than not vs doing “a little bit of everything”. Usually. With mastery in this area, the time dawned to learn new tools which clearly are Large Language Model development and Machine Learning.

Passion for AI/ML:

I am now embarking a journey to learn these tools in the LLM/AI/ML world now that Generative Pre-Trained Transformer AI models are here. My passion for AI and ML stems from the belief that these technologies have the potential to revolutionize industries and address real-world challenges such as finally settling the tired debate of which state has the best BBQ. I have been actively exploring AI concepts through online courses, reading research papers, and participating in AI-related communities.

What You'll Find On Chaz’s website:

Couldn’t tell you what was being written down but it was profound at the time.

Couldn’t tell you what was being written down but it was profound at the time.

On my page, I share my AI/ML projects, experiments, and insights. Through a collection of diverse projects, I aim to demonstrate my ability to apply cutting-edge AI techniques to solve complex problems. From natural language processing to computer vision, I am continuously expanding my skills and knowledge in the field of AI.

Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to connecting with you. And yes, some of this was written by AI but figure out which part(s) and you win a prize. What’s the prize? A comedy script where 100% of workers enjoy going to the office. The productivity goes up after all of the water cooler talk, fighting traffic, and distractions. Then again, we can’t trust adults to work without being babysat right? I’m the sure the office buildings appreciate the cash flow too. This is sarcasm of course (yes I am copping out).

Feel free to explore my projects and posts, and if you have any questions or would like to get in touch, don't hesitate to reach out via my email in the code block below.
